Geosynthetic Applications for Reinforcement
You will see real-world project case studies from Geosynthetics Ltd and learn how our engineering department can directly support your project.
Structural drainage systems must consistently provide the required discharge capacity, even when subjected to the maximum compressive stress of the project. For engineers and contractors seeking a reliable and efficient solution, EnkaDrain® is the established choice for horizontal drainage applications.
More often than not, installing EnkaDrain® as a drainage geocomposite proves to be a more cost-efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gravel drainage layers. This robust solution has been successfully applied in projects where the geocomposite is exposed to static and dynamic loads of 100kPa and more.
The EnkaDrain® range of multifunctional drainage mats offers a large number of product variants designed for diverse structural drainage needs, all featuring a durable drainage core with excellent compressive resistance to ensure the required discharge capacity is consistently maintained even under significant loads. This high-performance drainage core is constructed from polymeric monofilaments that are spun into a pyramid or V-shape configuration, creating an open, three-dimensional structure that guarantees maximum drainage capacity.
For complete system integrity, the core is thermally bonded or spot-welded to nonwoven separator filters on one or both sides, with these nonwovens being 10 cm wider than the core to provide a seamless and secure overlap between rolls during installation.
High Performance: Proven in projects with static and dynamic loads exceeding 100 kPa
Cost-Effective: A smart, modern alternative to expensive and material-intensive gravel layers.
Maximum Discharge: Unique pyramid or V-shape core structure ensures rapid and effective water flow.
Easy Installation: Available in widths up to two meters, with nonwoven overlaps designed for fast, simple roll-to-roll continuity.
