Developing The Future

On Tuesday 24th October members of the Geosynthetics Ltd team took part in a mock interview event at Wigston College.

College students were given the opportunity to be interviewed by members of the business community and receive valuable feedback on their performance. Natasha Davies, Assistant Principal of the College, who had organised the event with some assistance from the Enterprise Employer Network thanked participants for their contributions and interactions with the students. She went on to say that the general feeling and initial feedback had been really positive.

Comments from Geosynthetics Ltd team:

Gemma Batchelor – Geosynthetics Ltd

“I really enjoyed the morning and hope that the students found it beneficial too. All of the students that I interviewed are doing well with their studies and they should all be proud of themselves.”

Sarah Tracey – Geosynthetics Ltd

“I attended Wigston Academy to help with the Mock Interviews for the Year 11 students.  It was a pleasure to meet the students and was lovely to see how they were all getting on so well in preparation for their GCSE’s.  The interviews went really well and I really enjoyed helping these students with any tips and advice.  I am glad to hear that these Interviews had such positive feedback from the students and hope they will help them in their future.”

Gary McDermott said “It is great that we at Geosynthetics Ltd and indeed the whole business community can pull together and work with local schools and colleges to provide opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with students and aid their development.”
