Sales Support

Summary of Role

As a Sales Support person you will be an integral part of the future growth of the business and will be responsible for providing the highest level of service to the Sales Team. The Sales Support role offers a varied range of tasks including managing incoming calls, building customer relationships and providing project updates as well as booking seminars.

Working within a small team you will receive full training and support through your induction and whilst developing into the role. This role is perfect for applicants who would like to expand their knowledge past administration/customer service and gain a full business overview, with the option of moving into a Sales Role in the future.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Managing all incoming calls, ensuring the highest level of customer care
  • Calling new and existing clients in order to gain project updates
  • Project track to ensure we maximise every opportunity of winning the project
  • Book seminars for the External Sales Team including arranging lunch and hotels
  • Make outgoing customer relationship calls to bring in new potential leads
  • Be involved in the sales order process, raising quotes, sales and purchase orders
  • Provide admin support for the team at all times including ordering stationery
  • Support with Organising social events and the annual Hansam fundraiser
  • Understand the Geosynthetics Limited business plan and philosophy
  • Achieve personal and department targets
  • Meet and greet all visitors
  • Liaise with hauliers and suppliers
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

 

Requirements of the role

  • Preferably experience in Administration or Customer Service roles but not essential
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Computer Literate with good IT skills
  • Actively demonstrate the ‘Values and Behaviours’ of the business
  • Understand and work in line with the Geosynthetics Limited business plan
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Good attention to detail

  • All team members throughout the Hansam Group
  • All customers either established or potential including Merchants, Contractors, Councils, Architects, Engineers and members of the Arboriculture community
