Project Coordinator – Engineering

Summary of Role

As a project coordinator you will be an integral part of the future growth of the Engineering department and will be responsible for supporting the Engineering & Sales teams through efficient and effective project tracking.  You will need to have strong communication skills to enable you to build strong relationships with your customers and colleagues.  The successful candidate will need to have a good accuracy and achieve department KPI’s.

If you are an organised individual with teamwork skills, some commercial awareness and wanting to progress, then this role could be for you. We offer an excellent Induction to support your development with technical sales within the civils/construction sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Track all engineering opportunities, identify any gaps and source missing information.
  • Identify projects which would benefit from additional services.
  • Analyse lost opportunities, provide process improvement suggestion.
  • Work with the sales team, by researching and sourcing information.
  • Ensure all reports and KPIs produced are accurate and on time.
  • Respond to any business requests including provision of supporting documentation, system reports etc.
  • Achieve a consistently high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Be aware of current business processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements of the role

  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Able to communicate at all levels.
  • Computer Literate with good IT skills.
  • Actively demonstrate the ‘Values and Behaviours’ of the business.
  • Understand and work in line with the Geosynthetics Limited business plan.

  • All customers either established or potential including Merchants, Contractors, Councils, Architects, Engineers and members of the Arboricultural community.
