Voltblock Di-electric Geomembrane
Voltblock Di-electric Geomembrane is used extensively on modern electric transport lines. It prevents stray current from transferring to the passenger platforms and was approved for use on the Docklands Light Railway and used at infrastructure improvements at London City Airport and Stratford stations in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics.
An exacting specification calls for a geomembrane that can provide a degree of di-electric resistance exceeding a minimum dielectric value of 1000Ω/m² @ 10,000V.
The Voltblock does this and is very robust and able to cope with the rigours of site installation to ensure the integrity of the di-electric geomembrane. Large roll sizes help with an easier installation on site and minimise the need for jointing.
