Career Ready

Geosynthetics Limited are proud to have partnered with Career Ready in the Leicestershire area offering mentoring, internships and workplace visits to young people from local high schools and colleges.

Career Ready is a UK based charity established in 2002, which links young adults aged between 16 and 19, with local and national employers to prepare and expose school and college students to the working world. Through structured programmes, Career Ready has developed students’ skills and confidence, whilst linking students to influential members of local industry.

Since 2002, Career Ready has offered structured programmes to 12,000 young people. In Scotland, the only place in the UK with comprehensive destination data, 97% of students who took park in the Career Ready program, continued into work, higher education or work based training.

Over an 18 month period, members of our management staff have mentored 16-19 year olds to help expose students to a variety of different career paths and develop skills which are directly applicable to job interviews, and future job roles.
